Now that the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike has come to an end some of the shows are going back to the studios to finish of what they started in Autumn (Fall). From what I can see my main disappointments are
Paramount have released the first teaser trailer of the upcoming Star Trek movie.
As with all teasers there isn't that much too see, and with a release date of Christmas 2008 its going to be a long wait!
iwouldntsteal.net is a site set up to counter act the propagandamessage from media company's that downloading a movie is that same as stealing a car, handbag, or even shoplifting.
The Greens|European Free Aliance is a European parliamentary group made up of Greens and representatives of stateless nations ("regionalists"). Their argument is that sharing movies online does not equate to stealing and instead of spending money on adapting laws why not look into viable legal alternatives!
The problem that the movie industry has is that it is run by people who do not understand current technology/trends and while they were counting their money technology past them by. People are downloading now and always have been, the question these company's should be asking themselves is not "how to stop it" but "how to make it work for us?"
To protest against the faulty propaganda from the industry, we[ The Greens|European Free Aliance] made our own film. The difference is – you can choose whether you want to watch this on

It wasn't until this year that I saw all 6 days of 24 (working from home does allow some luxuries) and really got into this show.
Well if you have gotten past the crapiness that was the second half of day 6 check out the new exclusive trailer to day 7 starting Jan 13th http://www.24trailer.com/
All I'm saying is ... someone's not dead and can anyone say Die Hard 2?
Also don't forget http://www.geekthetube.com/ TV, Video Games, and Movies for Geeks
Raymond Camden, Scott Stroz, Scott Pinkston, and others have set up a new site; Geek the Tube just in time for the beginning of the '07 fall season. With the new domain means that the old forum has moved to http://www.geekthetube.com/forums/ but you should be able to still use your old login. If your favourite show isn't in the list then drop a message in the Everything Else forum.
Below is also a list of the fall line-up which me and the fiance watch, thought i'd post for reference:
- Two and a half men, September 24
- Heroes: September 24
- House: September 25th
- Greys Anatomy: September 25th
- Boston Legal: September 25
- Private Practice: September 26
- CSI:LV September 27
- Jericho: January 8th 2008
- 24 Day 7: January 13th 2008
- Lost: February 20th 2008
So what do you watch thats not on the list?
It was about a year ago there were reports that Futurama was coming back and now TV Squad has a post about recent news from Comic-con of the return.
The show will return on November 27th as a full-length high-def film sold on DVD. It will be followed by three additional films, and each film will be divided into four episodes each to be aired on Comedy Central. So, that's 4 DVD movies or 16 new episodes depending on how you look at it.
The four movies are:
After Bender's Big Score the others are planned to be released throughout 2008!
Zapp Brannigan: Captain's journal. Stardate...uh...
Kif: April thirteenth.
Zapp Brannigan: April thirteenth...point two. We have failed to uphold Brannigan's Law. However, I did make it with a hot alien babe. And in the end, is that not what man has dreamt of since first he looked up at the stars? [pause] Kif, I'm asking you a question!
Michael Dinowitz has mentioned on Rays blog about the online comics related to Heroes. So far there are 29 comics for you to go through (time to play catch up) which are available 2 formats, printable and interactive; which is done nicely in flash! These give you some further background information into the characters and relationships between them!
Check them out @ http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/novels/novels_library.shtml
I've found this on my travels around the web today though it doesn't seem available on the trailer site? yet
Yahoo has a new (HD) Transformer Movie trailer available.
I gotta say this looks like its going to be one of the big summer blockbusters for next year. The trailer looks good, though its still really a teaser one as you never get a real good look at the bots. Though you do see some of the main characters like Optimus Prime and Bumble bee in there!
