About Me

I’m a UK-based technical leader and managing director with strong hands-on skills in Node.js, Express.js, JavaScript, EJS, MariaDB/MySQL, and CFML. While I hold a senior DevOps/IT leadership role, I still code actively in the evenings to sharpen my skills and directly contribute to projects. I Co-founded MyTAG, building its initial technology stack and services, and led it through rapid growth to become a recognised solution adopted by clients on every continent. Contributed to a multi-million-pound acquisition. I've now transitioned into a DevOps leadership role at Kinexio, where I’m heavily involved in cloud migrations (Azure/AWS), infrastructure design, and modern identity management (M365, OAuth, SSO).

I take a pragmatic, problem-solving approach, combining technical expertise with business strategy. I’m known for improving not just code, but also processes, infrastructure, and team communication. I’m always analytical when evaluating systems and streamlining them, often asking what to look for before diving into improvements.

I place a strong emphasis on clear, effective communication.

On the tech side:

Outside of work, I enjoy a wide range of music genres. I also travel frequently with my family and balance my professional role with being a hands-on dad. I believe in making technology approachable for my family as well.

Ultimately, I’m always thinking ahead—not just solving today’s challenges but building reusable patterns and processes that set us up for long-term success.
